Yoga at Botanica - Saturdays at 10 am in February

Even though it's cold outside in February, we live in Kansas... so if the weather is warm enough we'll be practicing Yoga in the Gardens at Botanica. If it's too cold, we'll be inside where it's warm and cozy. Either way, bundle up so you can explore the Winder Wonderland of Botanica after class!
No experience needed to participate in the yoga classes - I offer the simple asana (posture) first then give options to move deeper or into a more challenging variation.

Each yoga class will have a theme!
February 7th - Mindful Movement
Become mindful of your body with slow mindful movements in this all levels yoga session. Moving mindfully gives our brain time to explore the sensations that arise in our bodies without the need to judge them. This class will create space for you to move at your own pace and explore how your mind and body can work together to create peace and calm in your daily experiences.
February 14th - Loving Movement
Bring your favorite person to share in this loving experience. In this all levels class we will move with intention from our hearts. Lovingly creating space in our bodies to explore it's deeper sensations and how when we move from love our bodies feel better and we can release tension and stress easier.
February 21st - Fire Movement
We'll create heat and build strength for action during this yoga session. This all levels yoga class will challenge your mind and your body to bring balance and strength into your practice. In alignment with the Chinese New Year on February 17th - we enter into the Year of the Fire Horse where we are supported to take action confidently and boldly!
February 28th - Rooted Movement
We'll continue to build strength through rooting into our bodies and honoring the sensations that arise in this all levels yoga session. Moving mindfully, lovingly and full of passion (fire), we'll revisit everything we've learned in the last 3 sessions for a to step into our full power, rooted and ready to rise!
